Lyn Chatham

Lyn Chatham was born in Ballarat, Victoria, and currently lives in Geelong. She divides her time between teaching vocational programmes to adults and writing projects.

Her poetry has been published in Blue Dog and Famous Reporter . She is the winner of the 2000 Clarissa Stein Multicultural Poetry Award and the CJ Dennis Literary Award, Open Poetry Section, 2001.

The anthology, Tales of the Blackboard, which she wrote a chapter for , was on the NSW HSC English reading list until 2003. In 2005, her book, Martino's Story, the memoir of an Italian migrant, was shortlisted in the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards.
