Jill Jones

Jill Jones' most recent books are Broken/Open (Salt, 2005), short-listed for The Age Book of the Year 2005 and the 2006 Kenneth Slessor Poetry Prize; Fold Unfold (Vagabond, 2005) poems written in response to paintings; and a ‘tiny’ handwritten book, Speak Which (Meritage Press, 2007). In 2007 she was a guest of the 23rd Festival International de la Poésie in Trois-Rivières, Canada. Her work has been featured in a number of recent anthologies including The Penguin Anthology of Australian Poetry (ed John Kinsella). For nearly seven years, she was Program Manager for the Literature Board of the Australia Council for the Arts. She currently teaches at the University of Adelaide.
