Mark Young
is a New Zealander who has lived in Australia for a number of years,
the last two of which have been in Rockhampton. Recent work has appeared
in Moria, eratio, Word for /Word, Tin Lustre Mobile, brief, hutt, Pettycoat
Relaxer & papertiger media. Four books of his poetry were published
in 2004 - The Oracular Sonnets, a collaborative e-chapbook with Jukka-Pekka
Kervinen from Meritage Press; Sun Moon’s Mother, an e-book from
Poetic Inhalation; calligraphies, an e-book from xPress(ed); &, in
paperback from xPress(ed), Poles Apart, a selection of his collaborative
work with Jukka-Pekka Kervinen. He has two blogs, pelican
