John Leonard is a Canberra-based poet. His published collections include 100 Elegies for Modernity (1997) and Jesus in Kashmir (2003). He is poetry editor of Overland. His poems have appeared in Overland, Meanjin, Island, Social Alternatives, LiNQ, Arena and other journals.
